Antique earthen pot from the Jomon period. The term "Jōmon" (縄文) means "rope-patterned" in Japanese, describing the patterns that are pressed into the clay. It's from an auction in Japan but there are no other documents

Condition:
-Old, some signs of wear and stains because of normal use and age. There are some cracks and small nicks.
